PhotoESPAÑA, a festival to enjoy the art in Madrid

Every June of the year PhotoESPAÑA and its Off Night is celebrated. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and visit exhibitions of the Off Festival, where there is a detailed selection of exhibitions of the best galleries in Madrid, with exhibitions of Photography and Visual Arts. This year 32 galleries are participating, of which we highlight from RedCollectors seven galleries from Madrid.

Five minutes away from one of the most popular parks in Madrid, the Retiro Park, you can meet the artists of galleries such as Ponce + Robles, Camara Oscura Galería de Arte or Rocio Santacruz. In these you can enjoy from photographs documenting the Natural History Museum in Paris to harmonic compositions made by the collective Boa Mistura with the term "Ubuntu" traditional African concept.

Walking through the artistic sphere of Madrid we reach the center of the city, where we can enjoy the Juana de Aizpuru Gallery, Rafael Pérez Hernando and Elba Benítez. They present figurative works and artists. From historical photographs by Yasumasa Morimura presented by Juana de Aizpuru, we move on to enjoy the most recent works of Ofelia Garcia, which combines drawing and photography. Finally, we highlight the project "Trompetas" by the gallery Elba Benítez, where mythical aspects of Western culture are related to the present. Living, therefore, an international history from the works.

Finally, 10 minutes from Plaza de España, you can enter the wonderful artistic world of the Galería Blanca Berlín and its exhibition "In Sub/Urbia", where you will meet a group of international artists who produce photographic visions of different urban typologies that are critical, poetic or dreamlike.
