Art Wednesday: Beatriz Olano

Miércoles de arte con Elisa Hernando presents the work of the artist Beatriz Olano (Medellín, 1965). Her work is influenced by artists such as Mondrian, Malevich and Rothko. Her artistic production is dominated by geometry, colour and line, as well as the relationship with objects, space and the quasi-architectural approach. As an artist, he is interested in modifying the way space is perceived. To do so, he finds, deconstructs, reconfigures objects, maerial and everyday spaces to create new realities. In this video we take a journey through her artistic production and exhibitions in museums such as the Antioquia Museum or with the gallerists Rafael Pérez Hernando, Carlos Hurtado and the artist herself. The works will be temporarily available for sale online at Redcollectors.
