Artist Biography: Juan Díaz (Toledo, 1953), is considered one of the best watercolorists on the national scene. In his compositions, the large formats stand out, unusual in watercolor due to the complication of their execution. In addition, several of his compositions can represent different parts of the same landscape. Thus, the spectator can arrange them consecutively, making even the separation between them part of the artistic work, or individually, because each canvas is a complete work.Since his first individual exhibition in 1972, he has developed an extensive creative work that has led him to exhibit throughout Spain and different countries such as Argentina, Colombia, United States, France or Italy.he has participated on numerous occasions in fairs such as : ARCO; ARTEBA, Buenos Aires (Argentina); FIA, Caracas (Venezuela); ART FAIR, Palm Spring (USA); ART FAIR, Santa Fe (USA); LINEART, Ghent (Belgium); ARTESANTANDER, Santander (Spain); ARTEBO, Bogota (Colombia); etc.He participates in different competitions in which he has been awarded numerous prizes, among which it is worth mentioning: National Watercolor Prize 1990 CAM, Madrid; 1st Medal in the LX Salón de Otoño, Madrid; Special Mention in the V Salón de Otoño de Plasencia; 1st Painting Prize "Premios Ejército 1996", Madrid; Acquisition Prize in the 1st Certamen Fundación Wellington, Madrid; Rafael Requena Special Prize in the "IV Certamen Nacional de Acuarela 2003", Caudete (Albacete); 1st and 2nd Prize in the VII and V Certamen Nacional de Acuarela", Caudete (Albacete).His works are in different Museums, private Collections and Institutions in Europe and America and is named "Cerdán de Oro" in recognition of his artistic career in Talavera de la Reina in 1993.

- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
