Artist Biography: He was born in Pamplona, Spain, in 1946. In the sixties, he studied at the School of Arts and Crafts of Pamplona, in the courses of Drawing and Painting. Around 1966, he entered the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid. From 1983 to the present, he teaches painting and drawing at the School of Arts and Crafts in Pamplona. His work is characterized by a silent palette and by the sense of spirituality conveyed by his landscapes of Pamplona, almost suspended out of time. His work can be found in public and private collections such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Madrid), the Senate (Madrid), the Salvador Allende Museum (Santiago de Chile), ARTIUM (Vitoria) and the La Caixa, Endesa and Argentaria collections. Since 1999 he has been represented by the Marlborough Gallery Madrid, where he has had numerous exhibitions since then. He was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts in 2001.

- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
