Artist Biography: Gonçalo Preto is a contemporary Portuguese artist who works in a variety of media, including sculpture, installation and drawing. His work focuses on exploring the relationship between the human body and architectural space, and how our perceptions of space influence our perception of ourselves.Preto uses unusual materials in his work, such as wax, mirror and glass, to create works that challenge traditional notions of sculpture and installation.
