ERIC CRUIKSHANK

Erik Cruikshank takes the landscape as an initial starting point, his paintings are not of literal presentation, but focus on the emotive qualities of place. Using an objective palette linked to the Scottish landscape, colour acts as a vehicle to reveal the picture planes that underlie the points of reference. With structure, design and colour harmony based on the everyday, the viewer is encouraged to re-approach notions of their surroundings, where the familiar is opened up and filled with possibilities. With works that leave the territory of art and traditional values, through process and presentation, a dialogue opens up between the past and the present, the historical and the contemporary.

JAVIER RUIZ

In the paintings of Javier Ruiz There are plenty of non-places, bare fields, plateaus where the human soul is reduced to a minimum expression. Hence, the protagonists work, play and exist without giving an answer to the reasons that have led them to such places. The decontextualization is important, since it evidences the features that give character to the work, whether it is the elimination of the costume codes or the addition of objects and attitudes of necessary disparity.

DANIEL DOMINGO SCHWEITZER

Daniel Domingo Schweitzer defines line and plane as elements of a code that investigates and generates different proposals that share a concern for surfaces, shapes, voids, materials and light. A particular language through form where texture, matter and body contain their own narratives that dialogue with each other to redefine themselves in the viewer's perception. As the artist himself points out: "in my works there is no representation. They are direct proposals that appeal to the spectator's experience through the specificity of plastic languages.

BEATRIZ OLANO

For Beatriz Olano space is his starting point and offers him the guidelines to identify and establish how to approach what I want to alter. The creation of her works takes different forms and is made with different materials, but is always linked to a geometric language typical of abstract art. The presence of colour reflects the instinctive character inherent to her. She uses the tones as I feel them, she likes their strength and the way they take the space by means of correspondences and contrasts.

CRISTÓBAL ORTEGA

Cristóbal Ortega is characterised by the representation of successions of pictorial notes of different timbres and shapes, harmonised as in a rapturous score. His particular pictorial conception gives rise to works in which oil paint is abundant on the reverse side. A technique based on perspiration, that is to say, the perspiration of the oil paint through the fine layers of linen. Colours intermingle and interact, generating synergies and movements. Liquid brushstrokes curl into a universe that heralds a change.

NANON MORSINK

The Dutch artist Nanon Morsink calls herself a multidisciplinary artist since she has always worked with different materials and techniques. However, her latest works have focused on the use of textiles. From various salvaged materials, the artist builds three-dimensional works linked to textile art.

JOB SÁNCHEZ

Job Sánchez refers to the precise moment of a cycle, when the idea is maturing and developing within its own possibilities. He starts with the circle as a modular element that folds, divides and turns to open up, occupying the space that its area allows. But always connected to the wall, with the clear intention of stating that these pieces are the result of plastic experimentation derived from pictorial practice.

FEDERICO GRANELL

The painting of Federico Granell reveals the narrative and experiential nature of travel, as a distancing from routine and everyday life, as a discovery of new places and different ways of life, but also as a journey inward, towards the encounter with oneself. In his works, a light sifted by memory, like a photograph faded by the passage of time, takes us to those places Prints diffusely in his memory. Granell does not need a camera to document his travels, he does it with his pencils or watercolors, portraying not only the place but also what only the traveler can feel.

IRA LOMBARDIA

Ira Lombardia is an artist and researcher, working in different media such as photography, video, graphic design and sculpture. With his projects he questions discourses, dynamics and rhetorics that have been assumed in the field of contemporary art, image or philosophy. Her production, both theoretical and practical, focuses on the transformation of the postmodern paradigm in relation to digital visual culture.
This line of research interests has led her to generate proposals that challenge traditional forms of production, exhibition and documentation.

DAVID MARTÍNEZ SUÁREZ

David Martínez Suárez considers that there are forms that grow like a plant in a pot, they need a certain amount of attention, their roots hide and adapt to the container, absorbing nutrients, while another part moves towards the light. I try to develop my pieces as grafts, like a craft technique in which a piece of tissue from one plant is joined to another already established one so that both grow as a single organism. Disparate materialities that approach each other, modifying the distances as in a game of encounter and seduction.

JUAN GENOVÉS

Juan Genovés He uses the technique of Giclée or digital printing with a particularity: each of the copies has been subsequently intervened by hand, signed and numbered by the artist himself, which makes each work unique. He has always been a painter in whom his formal enquiries converged with a strong social concern and a great interest in the renewal of figurative approaches.
