Artist Biography: Xavi Ceerre is an artist born in Alcoy in 1988, who lives and works in Barcelona. His main medium is painting, but he also uses other languages such as programming, music or installation. He has completed the Master's Degree in Painting, taught by the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. His work has been exhibited individually at the Carles Taché Gallery in Barcelona, the Neuheisel Gallery (Saarbrücken, Germany), the Juan Manuel Lumbreras Gallery in Bilbao and El espacio ZAWP (Bilbao), among others. And in several group exhibitions in spaces such as the CC Urgell in Barcelona, Espai 13 of the Fundació Miró, Tecla Sala, Piramidón Centre d'Art Contemporani (Barcelona), Bilbaoarte or the Espronceda Art Center (Barcelona), and more recently, the Het HEM in Amsterdam, Reckless Contemporary in Miami or the Gr_und gallery in Berlin. She has organized and curated different collective projects, such as the virtual interactive exhibition Quarantine Gallery, in which 29 national and international artists participated, O Seriot, in which she collaborated with a total of 7 artists from Barcelona. She is also part of the Okela artists network in Bilbao. She has participated in festivals such as MIRA Digital Arts Festival BCN, LOOM Festival BCN, Ús Barcelona, Urban Skills (Alcoy) or Ex Abrupto (Tarragona). He has done artistic residencies in ZAWP (Bilbao), Bilbaoarte, Piramidón Centre D'Art Contemporani de Barcelona, Fabra i Coats (BCN) and Nautilus Lanzarote. His work is part of various public and private collections in Spain, Peru, Switzerland, England, the Netherlands and the United States of America. Among them is the acquisition of a large format painting (5'2 x 2 m.) by the Bacardi Company that currently hangs in its headquarters in Spain.
This work includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authentication value of the work of art. The certificate may be signed by the author of the work, by the representing gallery or by the printmaker who collaborated with the artist on the work.
The information usually included in a certificate of authenticity is: name of the artist, details of the work (title, date, support, dimensions) and an image of the work.
- Keep works of art away from direct sunlight and any other source of heat (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging works of art near smoky and polluted areas (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We advise you to protect the paintings with a glass frame.
- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
