Artist Biography: Seville, 1987 Sonia Espigares' photographs have the ability to unite man with nature as one more element. It doesn't matter what it looks like. The landscape is so vast, so absorbing, that it assimilates those who wander through its space as if they were part of it. Seeing his photographs brings to mind Hopper's paintings, where the human figures seem static. They are like statues in a frozen scene. However, these photographs do not convey a sense of imprisoned characters. It is the color, the light, the sensation that the world has stopped for a moment to let us see with parsimony a scene that took place in a foreign place, a fleeting second full of mystery that seems like an isolated frame of a narrative that we do not know and must imagine. Each character, no matter how insignificant his or her role in the frame, occupies just the right place.Framed work. Size: 70 x 96 cm + frame.

Recommendations for the proper conservation of works of art:

- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
