Simon Edmondson - BUST
Artist Biography: Simon Edmondson (United Kingdom, 1955) is an artist who trained in renowned British schools before obtaining the M.A. in Painting degree at Chelsea College of Art (London) 1977-78, and the M.F.A. in Painting at Syracuse University (New York) 1978-80. He is considered one of the most important painters on the international scene with exhibitions in Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and the United States and Spain. From the beginning, Edmondson has practiced a figurative style of painting with an expressionist language, where forms dissolve and vanish in empty and dilapidated scenarios, as a nostalgic and rescuing evocation of the past. He had his first major institutional exhibition at the Deutsche Bank in Madrid in 1998 and in 2009/10 at the Stadtgalerie Klagenfurt in Austria.

- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
