Artist Biography: Santiago Giralda is an artist born in Madrid in 1980. He graduated in Fine Arts and obtained a Master's degree in Art, Creation and Research from the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as a postgraduate degree at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg, Germany, and his work is characterized by the exploration of themes such as memory, identity and the perception of time. He uses a wide variety of media and techniques, from painting and drawing to installation and performance. He has also worked on collaborative projects with other artists and has participated in several exhibitions both in Spain and abroad.In his work, Giralda questions official narratives and absolute truths, and seeks to offer new perspectives and readings through his art. In addition to his artistic career, he has also taught and lectured at various institutions and has collaborated with several publications.
This work includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authentication value of the work of art. Recommendations for the proper conservation of works of art:
- Keep works of art away from direct sunlight and any other source of heat (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging works of art near smoky and polluted areas (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We advise you to protect the paintings with a glass frame.
- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
