Born in Figueres, Spain, in 1904, Dalí studied at the San Fernando Academy in Madrid before moving to Paris in 1926, where he became part of the Surrealist movement. His distinctive artistic style, which included distorted forms, dreamlike objects and incongruous symbols, became his signature and earned him international recognition.During his career, Dalí produced a wide range of works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings and theatrical designs. Some of his most famous works include "The Persistence of Memory," which features soft watches, and "The Temptation of St. Anthony," a surrealist masterpiece filled with symbolic imagery.Throughout his life, Dalí became an eccentric and flamboyant figure in popular culture, thanks to his eccentric public appearances and controversial statements. Dalí also worked with filmmakers, such as Luis Buñuel, on films like "An Andalusian Dog" and "The Golden Age. "Dalí died in Figueres in 1989, but his legacy lives on. Today, his works are found in art collections around the world, and his influence on popular culture is still evident in fashion, music and film.
