Artist Biography: The work of Romulo Royo (Zaragoza, 1976) is interested in and brings us closer to fantasy and science fiction of current character, applying it to the world of painting. A personal and different vision to the current themes of the art world. He is attracted to universes that transport us to other worlds and timeless spaces, leaving the everyday reality to immerse himself in more enigmatic places that have always accompanied humanity, he approaches his work from the premise of a figurative language marked by a primitive composition, at the same time treated with strength in his brushstrokes and a delicacy in the colors and veiled that enhance the power exerted by his figures.Some of his influences are found in filmmakers like Ridley Scott or George Lucas with films like Alien, Blade Runner or the first trilogy of Star Wars and authors like Jodorowsky, who works in the Malefic Time universe.
