Miguel Peña Miguel Peña is a Spanish artist born in Malaga in 1958, known for his figurative and realistic style. His work focuses on the representation of the human figure, often in urban environments and with great attention to detail and light.Peña studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Malaga and began his career as a painter in the 1980s. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Spain, as well as in other countries such as France, Italy, Portugal and the United States.Among the awards he has received are the First Painting Prize of the Diputación de Málaga in 1984, the First Painting Prize "Villa de Rota" in 1997, the First Painting Prize "Ciudad de Melilla" in 2002, and the National Realist Painting Prize "Ciudad de Fuengirola" in 2006.Peña's work is in public and private collections around the world, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Malaga, the Museum of Fine Arts in Cordoba and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid. His work has been critically acclaimed and praised for his ability to capture the complexity of urban life and human psychology.

Recommendations for the proper conservation of works of art:

  • Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
  • If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
