Artist Biography: Juan and Pablo Genovés are two Spanish artists who work together in collaboration. Juan Genovés was born in Valencia in 1930 and Pablo Genovés was born in Madrid in 1959. The brothers' joint work is characterized by the fusion of figurative and abstract elements, as well as the use of photography, painting and sculpture to create installations and large-scale works.Juan Genovés' work is known for its figurative style, in which human figures are presented in juxtaposed and overlapping crowds, creating a sense of tension and dynamism. His style evolved from early expressionism to a more abstract use of form and color in recent decades. In addition to his work in the field of art, Juan Genovés has also distinguished himself as a political activist and has been the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career.On the other hand, Pablo Genovés has developed a multidisciplinary artistic practice that combines photography, painting and sculpture in the creation of works that explore the relationship between man and nature, space and light. Their work is known for the use of digital techniques to manipulate and create new images from old photographs and architectural elements.Together, the Genovés brothers have exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain and abroad, and have received various awards and recognitions. This work includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authentication value of the work of art. Recommendations for the proper conservation of works of art:
- Keep works of art away from direct sunlight and any other source of heat (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging works of art near smoky and polluted areas (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We advise you to protect the paintings with a glass frame.
- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
