Artist Biography: Josep Guinovart (1927-2007) was a prominent Spanish artist, born in Barcelona and recognized for his great career and legacy in the contemporary art world. Guinovart began his artistic career in the 1940s, studying at the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona, where he developed his passion for art and his vocation as an artist.Throughout his career, Guinovart was characterized by his unique and personal style, which stood out for his use of innovative materials and techniques, as well as his great ability to combine abstract and figurative elements in his works. Among the techniques he used were painting, drawing, collage and sculpture.One of the most recurrent themes in his work is the reflection on Catalan history and identity, as well as social and political criticism. In this sense, his work is characterized by a strong symbolic charge and often uses iconography and elements of Catalan popular culture.Throughout his career, Guinovart participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain and abroad. In 1997 he was awarded Spain's National Plastic Arts Prize in recognition of his contribution to culture and the visual arts, and Guinovart's work is now in numerous public and private collections around the world, and his legacy is recognized as one of the most important in the contemporary Spanish art scene.

- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
