Fernando Machado - Carving the mood
Biography of the Artist: Fernando Machado (Linares-1951), plastic artist, Professor of Plastic Arts and Design at the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Valencia and Professor of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Altea of the Miguel Hernández University; he has been working since the seventies under a rigorous, intimate and reconstructive technique, which breaks with the modern epistemic order. His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and art spaces, among which stand out: The College of Architects of Valencia and Murcia, the Palace of the Provincial Council of Malaga, the State Public Library in Zamora, the Finnish museums of Jyväskylä, Gallen-Kallelan, Turku, Lappeenranta, Kuusankoski or Kajaani, the Contemporary Culture Center of the University of Granada, the City Museum in Valencia, Municipal Culture Center of the Provincial Council of Castellón, the IVAM in Valencia, among others. He has also exhibited in different international competitions and fairs such as: in the Palacio de la Diputación Provincial de Málaga, in the Fundación Caixa de Pensiones in Valencia, as well as in the Biennials of Pontevedra and Oviedo, the Biennial of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, or in the International Fair of ARCO in Madrid. In addition, his work has been exhibited in different institutions, among which stand out: The Provincial Museum of Jaen, The Collection of the Provincial Council of Malaga, The Collection of the Banco Exterior de España, The Collection of the Caixa de Pensions Foundation or the A. C. in Barcelona, and the Collection of the Provincial Council of Valencia.

- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
