Artist Biography: Carolina Valls (Valencia-1980), a graduate in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, has spent years developing a rigorous study on the idea of mutability, demonstrating that concepts and external factors take precedence over the aesthetics of the figures, thus, reality gives way to abstraction through geometry, giving prominence to lines, ideas and emotions imperceptible to the naked eye. In addition to various reviews written by critics of the national scene as Roman de la Calle and Marcelo Juame. In addition to all this, Carolina's work is present in private and public collections, including the San Pío V Museum (Valencia), the Museum of Villafamés (Castellón), Mainel Foundation, the City Council of Castellón, the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real, as well as CARSA ([private foundation], Bilbao) and the Juan José Comenge Foundation. Likewise, it is worth mentioning her participation in the Solo Show curated section at Art Paris representing Shiras Galería 2019 and her participation in Abierto Valencia 2019, where she was awarded the Makma acquisition prize.
