Artist Biography: Carol Solar is a contemporary Chilean artist born in Santiago in 1979. Since her youth, she showed interest in painting and drawing, which led her to study at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile, where she obtained her degree in 2004. During her studies, she also participated in workshops and residencies abroad, in countries such as Spain, Mexico and the U.S.A. Throughout her career, Carol Solar has experimented with different techniques and materials, but her work is mainly focused on painting. Her work is characterized by the use of vibrant colors and abstract forms, which create dynamic and evocative compositions. The artist is inspired by nature, music and literature, and her work often conveys a sense of movement and energy.Since her first exhibitions in the 2000s, Carol Solar has exhibited her work in galleries and museums in Chile and abroad. Some of her most notable exhibitions include "La luz de la pintura" (Galería Balmaceda Arte Joven, 2005), "Pintura en el límite" (Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Quito, 2011) and "Sedimento" (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Valdivia, 2017).In addition to her work as an artist, Carol Solar has also served as an art teacher and participated in public art projects. In 2019, she created a work for the project "Los Colores de Valparaíso", an initiative that seeks to intervene public spaces in the city with works of art.With her artistic career and her constant exploration of new techniques and materials, Carol Solar has established herself as one of Chile's most prominent contemporary artists. Her work has expanded beyond the borders of her country and has been recognized for her originality and her ability to convey emotions and sensations through art.

- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
