Artist Biography:Bojan Sarcevic (Belgrade, Serbia, 1974) is a sculptor internationally recognized for his abstract metal sculpture. Born in Belgrade, Sarcevic graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Belgrade and later moved to the Netherlands to continue his training at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. His work explores the boundaries between form and space, using metal as the main material to create dynamic and poetic sculptures.
His monumental sculptures, present in public spaces such as the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo (The Netherlands) and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao (Spain), dialogue with their surroundings in a monumental and poetic way.
Bojan Sarcevic has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Henry Moore Award in 2008 and the Joan Miró Award in 2013. His work is part of public and private collections of international prestige, consolidating him as one of the most relevant sculptors of his generation.
Bojan Sarcevic stands out for his constant search for new forms of artistic expression. His work invites us to reflect on the perception of space, movement and beauty in its purest form.
This work includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authentication value of the work of art. - Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
