Artist Biography: Alegría and Piñero are a duo of contemporary artists formed by Inés Alegría and Miguel Piñero, who have collaborated in various artistic projects since 2010. They have also participated in numerous international art fairs, such as ARCOmadrid, Art Basel Miami and Art Dubai. In addition to their work as artists, Alegría and Piñero have been professors at various educational institutions, and have given workshops and lectures on art and technology around the world. Their work has been recognized with numerous awards and mentions, including the ARCOmadrid/BEEP Electronic Art Award (2015) and the National Digital Art Award (2018).With their work, Alegría and Piñero have managed to establish themselves as one of the most interesting and avant-garde proposals in Spanish contemporary art, and have managed to take technology and interactivity to new levels in the field of art.
