General conditions of the charity auction

  1. AUCTION: The estimated sale value and description of the pieces have been made with information provided by the artists, galleries or donors and are considered reliable market prices. 
  2. All pieces are sold in their current state and are subject to the conditions and restrictions stipulated by the artists, galleries or collectors. 
  3. Arte Global reserves the right to withdraw any piece at any time prior to the sale. Unless previously announced, lots will go in the order they are listed in the catalog. 
  4. The lots will be awarded to the highest bidder being Arte Global in case of doubt about the winning bidder or the auction price the one who will decide in an unappealable way. The successive bids of the starting price are made according to the criteria of each buyer without a fixed scale of increases.
  5. Buyers may submit their bids in writing, using the forms provided. The auctioneer shall defend the bid up to the limit indicated therein, trying to award the lot offered at the lowest possible price. Between two or more bids made in writing and offering the same amount for the same lot, the oldest bid shall have priority, in the same way that written bids have priority over those made at the auction. 
  6. By participating in this auction, each bidder acknowledges that neither Arte Global nor the ANAR Foundation, nor anyone assisting in the conduct of the auction, is responsible for any incident resulting from auctioned pieces or services rendered. 
  7. Neither Arte Global nor the ANAR Foundation assumes any risk or responsibility for the authenticity, quality or value of the pieces.
  8. Purchasers may not request returns or exchanges from any artist, donor or the ANAR Foundation. 
  9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: the rights of the author or his heirs over the work shall be respected in accordance with the intellectual property law. 
  10. PAYMENT OF THE LOTS: The payment of the lots must be made immediately after the conclusion of the auction or preceding the shipment of the pieces.   11. PICK UP AND SHIPPING INFORMATION: Packing and shipping costs will be paid by the buyer. Once the purchased work has been paid for, we will contact the gallery where you can pick up the work or request a transport estimate. If this is not possible and you prefer to have the purchased piece delivered, you can contact Madrid Art:victor@madrid-art.com 
  12. Starting prices do not include VAT. The final auctioned price and, therefore, the invoice, will be increased by the corresponding taxes. 
  13. Art galleries will provide buyers with certificates of authenticity.

Guide Offers in Absence

If you are unable to attend the auction, you may bid in absentia by filling out the form below. You must specify your maximum bid amount. Email your bid to Yue Chen via yue@arteglobal.es: up to 24 hours prior to the start of the auction; Global Art will bid on your behalf. 


  1. The service is confidential. 
  2. Offers must be written in the same order as they appear in the catalog. 
  3. In the event of equal bids, the bid received first shall take precedence. 
  4. Successful and/or unsuccessful bids will be communicated.
