Artist Biography: Marta Marcé is an artist born in Vilafranca de Penedès, in 1972. He graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and later completed a master's degree at the Massana School. Her work focuses on painting, drawing, and installation, exploring themes such as identity, the body, and nature. In his work, Marcé uses a palette of vibrant colors and abstract figures that often evoke organic shapes. He also incorporates elements of nature into his works, such as leaves and branches, creating a connection between human beings and their natural environment. In his exploration of identity, Marcé focuses on how personal identity is affected by factors such as culture and history. In addition to his artistic practice, Marcé has also worked as a teacher at the Massana School and has collaborated in various artistic and cultural projects. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Spain and other European countries, such as Italy and France.
