Artist Biography: Jorge Thuillier is an artist born in Cadiz in 1989, whose work focuses on abstract and intangible concepts such as spirituality, memories and mystery. Through his work, Thuillier explores vestiges of ancestral information that remain in the subconscious, as well as questions related to nature and anthropological enigmas.His art also reflects an interest in the stance we take towards any symbolic language, which could be described as a paradox that is directed towards the occult and inexplicable. Thuillier's work is a reflection of life itself, with all its experiences, stages and moments.Thuillier holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, and in 2012 received first prize in the XVIII National Plastic Arts Competition of the same university. He has exhibited at the Seville Arts Center in the exhibition "Que Vienen los Bárbaros" in 2012, and in the "Exposición 6º Premio UNIA" of the University of Andalusia in 2013, in addition to other exhibitions in 2010 and 2011.In short, Thuillier's work is an exploration of the most abstract and intangible concepts, and his work is a reflection on life and human nature that attracts the viewer and invites him to reflect on the mysteries that surround us.
