Artist Biography: Dénes Farkas is a contemporary artist born in Budapest in 1974, currently residing in Estonia for seventeen years. He studied Graphic Arts at the Estonian Academy of Fine Arts in 2001, and later completed his training with a Master's degree in Media Art and Photography in 2003.His artwork has been widely recognized and exhibited both in Estonia and in internationally renowned exhibitions, most notably his participation in the Moscow Photography Biennale in 2014 and the Berlin Photography Biennale in 2016.Dénes Farkas' work is characterized by exploring the complex relationships between image, language and visual perception. His works consist of photographs, videos and collages that merge elements of reality with more abstract ones, thus creating compositions that question the limits of visual representation and the subjectivity of the gaze.In addition to his work as an artist, Dénes Farkas has also worked as an Associate Professor at the Estonian Academy of Fine Arts, and as a project manager at the headquarters of the Hungarian Institute in Tallinn, Estonia.In short, Dénes Farkas is a contemporary artist whose work has been widely recognized and exhibited nationally and internationally, and who stands out for his ability to question the limits of visual representation and the subjectivity of the gaze in his works.

Recommendations for the proper conservation of works of art:
- Keep works of art away from direct sunlight and any other source of heat (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging works of art near smoky and polluted areas (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We advise you to protect the paintings with a glass frame.
- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
