Agnes Zmuda - Zatoka wigry woda (Bay of Wigry Woda)
Artist Biography: Agnieszka Zmuda pursued her painting education in the studio of Professor Danuta Makowska during her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, which she completed with distinction, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2001. Originally from Lódz, she has been living and creating in Bialystok since 2003. In her artistic work, she explores themes of landscapes and still life, sometimes blending them to create a poetic and surreal atmosphere. However, it's not the themes but rather color and composition that form the core of her artistic exploration. Her diverse and experimental painting style ranges from realistic works to increasingly abstract and expressionistic compositions, showcasing a conscious development and freshness of expression.
