Geometric Places
On 28 January two new exhibitions opened at Shiras Galería: '70-21' by Rosa Torres (1948, Valencia) and 'Lugares geométricos' by Daniel Domingo Schweitzer (1988, Germany). As the artistic director Sara Joudi herself emphasises: "both projects presented reaffirm the artistic line of the gallery since its beginnings, combining established artists and artists of great projection. They are two exhibitions of great artistic and creative quality in which different generations and concepts come together". The Main Hall will house the project by Rosa Torres, who will show a selection of pieces made during her beginnings in the 70s together with unpublished works created during the last year. Meanwhile, the Espacio Refugio will be occupied by the sculpture of Daniel Schweitzer through his plastic research on the problematic of space, its definition and existence in relation to the body.
