In 2010 he presented a major exhibition at the Bilbao Museum of Fine Arts, which brings together works from the last ten years, as well as recent work, focused on the architecture-nature dialectic with the museum building itself and its works as an excuse Theme. After several exhibitions in China, in 2016 and coinciding with the European Capital of Culture in San Sebastian, a complete retrospective of his last 40 years of work is organized in the Kubo room of the Kursaal. He is a full member of Jakiunde, the Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters of the Basque Country. His work can be found in various collections and museums in several countries, such as the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. In June 2017, he was part of a scientific-artistic expedition to the Arctic, organized by the New York Foundation The Arctic Circle, in search of extreme landscapes from a sublime point of view. The publishing house NEREA has published an extensive monograph with texts by the author, which delves into the conceptual component of painting.
