Artist Biography: Miralda-Muntadas is the artistic name of two artists: the Catalan Antoni Miralda and the American Spaniard Juan Downey Muntadas. The two began working together in the 1970s on artistic and social research projects. Their work focuses on exploring themes related to identity, popular culture, consumption and globalization.Antoni Miralda is known for his installations and performances that combine cultural elements from different regions of the world. He has also worked on public art projects, such as the transformation of the Collserola Tower in Barcelona into a light installation. For his part, Juan Downey Muntadas focused on the use of technology in his work, creating video installations and interactive performances.Among the awards Miralda-Muntadas has received are the Gold Medal for Fine Arts from the Government of Spain in 1996 and the National Prize for Plastic Arts from the Generalitat de Catalunya in 2014. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid.

Recommendations for the proper conservation of works of art:
- Keep works of art away from direct sunlight and any other source of heat (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging works of art near smoky and polluted areas (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We advise you to protect the paintings with a glass frame.
- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
Shipping usually takes about 7 days. Shipping costs are established according to the gallery location and the size of the artwork. Costs for packing materials are included.
