Since 1989, PALMADOTZE has based its programme on the promotion of contemporary art, alternating exhibitions of young artists with recent works by great exponents of Catalan, Spanish and international art from the second avant-garde to the present day.

PALMADOTZE collaborates with institutions and companies in the Penedès area to carry out artistic initiatives of a public nature, and programmes activities (conferences, concerts, dance, theatre and poetry recitals) through which it is linked to cultural and festive events in the region. In 2019 it moves from Vilafranca del Penedès to a 15th century farmhouse in Santa Margarida i els Monjos. Motivated by the need to reinvent itself, it proposes new formulas for the dissemination and promotion of contemporary art that bring particularity and dynamism to its exhibition programme. The peculiarity of the region allows it to highlight the connection between "Art/Landscape/Wine" through the similarities and parallels that exist between respect for nature, inseparable from winemaking, and the processes of creation.
