Artist Biography: Pablo Sycet (Gibraleón, Huelva, February 9, 1953) is an outstanding multifaceted Andalusian painter of the generation of the 1980s, for whom painting continues to be the central element of his work. Over the course of three decades, his creativity has extended to other fields such as publishing, typography, graphic design, founding art galleries, organizing exhibitions, writing song lyrics and music production, and he has been an important bridge in the connection between Andalusia and Madrid, and has tried to reinvest in Andalusia what he has gained and learned in the Spanish capital. He has been a generous and unselfish bridge between artists of different generations, from those before his own to the youngest emerging artists of today, his main residence is in Madrid, but he has never abandoned his ties with Andalusia and, in particular, with Granada. Sycet is an artist of great relevance, whose work has been fundamental for the connection between different generations and the diffusion of culture in different artistic fields. Materials and care
Recommendations for the proper conservation of works of art:

  • Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
  • If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
