Word images
Word Images brings together works by Mangelos (Dimitrije Bašičević) and Mladen Stilinović, leading exponents of the Zagreb neo-avant-garde scene.
Mangelos's works - Paysages, Tabula Rasa, Négation de la peinture, Alphabet, Word Images and Manifestos - correspond to different stages of his career. In the case of Stilinović, the works selected are mainly word-centred. The aim is to highlight the similarities and underline the differences between the two artists.
