Artist Biography: Anders Kjellesvik is a Norwegian contemporary artist who was born in 1975 in the city of Bergen. He is known for his interdisciplinary approach combining sculpture, installation and photography, and his work is often inspired by nature and the urban environment.Kjellesvik studied at the National Academy of Arts in Oslo, where he graduated in 2001. His work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe, including Norway, Sweden, Germany, UK, Switzerland and Spain.One of his best known works is "The Rain Project", an installation in which he created an artificial cloud inside a gallery using water vapor and light. The work was presented at the Venice Biennale in 2007, and has been exhibited in other cities in Europe.Another outstanding work by Kjellesvik is "Flooded", an installation in which he built a life-size house inside a gallery and flooded it with water. The work is a reflection on the effects of climate change and the increasing threat of flooding around the world.In his work, Kjellesvik has also explored themes such as identity and memory, through the creation of portraits in stone and the use of materials found in nature, such as branches and leaves.In 2015, Kjellesvik received the inaugural contemporary art award from the Fritt Ord Foundation in Norway, which recognizes artists working at the intersection of art and politics.Kjellesvik continues to work in her studio in Bergen, and her work has been acquired by numerous public and private collections in Norway and abroad. His interdisciplinary approach and ability to create works that defy conventional expectations have made him a leading figure in the contemporary art scene.

Recommendations for the proper conservation of works of art:
- Keep works of art away from direct sunlight and any other source of heat (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging works of art near smoky and polluted areas (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We advise you to protect the paintings with a glass frame.
- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
