Artist Biography: Francisco Javier Cabo Villaverde is a Spanish artist and academic born in 1959. He studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid and later specialized in Art History at the University of Santiago, where he also obtained his doctorate in 2001.During his career, Cabo Villaverde has developed his own style characterized by the use of color and form to create abstract works of great visual impact. He has exhibited his work in numerous galleries and museums, both in Spain and in other countries.In addition to his work as an artist, Cabo Villaverde has been a professor of Didactics of Plastic Arts at the University of Santiago, and has given workshops and lectures at several academic institutions. In his work, Cabo Villaverde focuses on exploring the relationship between color and form, creating abstract compositions that evoke emotions and sensations in the viewer. His paintings have a strong physical presence and are characterized by their chromatic intensity and the texture of the paint applied in thick layers.Throughout his career, Cabo Villaverde has been recognized for his work and has received several awards and grants, including the landscape painting grant in Pontevedra that he received in 1985. Today, he continues to produce art and teach the next generation of artists and educators.

- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
