With the use of old and used fabrics, I immerse myself in a new dimension that evolves now towards almost monochromatic surfaces, revealing a complex network of fractures with a minimum of characters, which are glimpsed by reliefs and silhouettes that emerge almost magically through the warp of the fabrics. Text and color are now layered together as an intimate encounter between past and present. Through a personal code and always using antique fabrics and burlap, as support and leitmotiv, these are not only used as background, they are a substantial part of the work. A succession of elements painted, dyed and prepared separately show apparently constructive references and acquire strength through color, characters, wounds or original marks.
