Wild and sweet

Wild and Sweet examines the work of five brilliant contemporary artists from different corners of the world through their individual visual language. The theme of the exhibition pays homage to an analogy once written by Nobel laureate Pablo Neruda, where the poet explains dualism in a way that integrates and celebrates opposites rather than categorising or judging them. Wild and Sweet was used to describe the state of a single person at a given moment. It was a summation of emotions and sensations together without having to choose between them, and that is the beauty and uniqueness of the theme we are about to explore: appreciating contrasts without being "black and white". A work of art can denote infinitely many different elements simultaneously. The artists in the exhibition reconcile and focus on the concept of dualism and incorporate the power of this often rejected idea into their work....
