Artist Biography: Olalla Gómez Valdericeda is a Spanish artist born in 1985 in Madrid. She studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid and currently lives and works in Berlin. Her work focuses on the exploration of the human figure, through the technique of drawing and painting, Olalla Gómez's style is characterized by a realistic and detailed approach, which seeks to capture the expression and emotion of her subjects. The artist mainly uses oil and charcoal, but also experiments with other techniques and materials. In addition, her work focuses on the human body, often portraying nude female figures in simple and elegant compositions.In terms of awards and recognitions, Olalla Gómez has received several grants and art residencies, including the Artist Residency at the Antonio Gala Foundation in Córdoba and the International Art Residency at the Valparaíso Foundation in Mojácar. Her work has also been exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Spain, Germany and other European countries, highlighting her participation in the contemporary art fair ARCOmadrid.
