Sara Mealha - "People don't taste like they used to".
Artist Biography: Sara Mealha (b. 1995 Lisbon, Portugal) Lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal. In 2017 Graduates at Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Since 2017, she has exhibited regularly in group and solo exhibitions. Highlights include "A Dispensa" (Pavilhão 31, 2017), "Cola-Cuspo" (Espaço AZ, 2018), "Cabra Cega" (Galeria Balcony, 2019), "A Longa Sombra" (Maus Hábitos, 2020) and "Entre Margens" (Galeria do Parque, 2024). She had her first solo exhibition, "Primeiro Socorro", at Travessa da Ermida in 2018. Also noteworthy are the exhibitions "Às Nove a Camin- ho" (Galeria Balcony, 2019), "Ou Não, Sim" (Casa da Cerca, 2021) "Ne Pas Plier" (Zaratan Arte Contemporânea, 2023), "Feitio" (Duplex, 2023) and "Meia Bravura" (Appleton BOX).
This drawing is part of an ongoing project developed over the past few years, which can be understood as an attempt to bring together and cross several different languages.
This work includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authentication value of the work of art. The certificate may be signed by the author of the work, by the representing gallery or by the printmaker who collaborated with the artist on the work.

- Keep works of art away from direct sunlight and any other source of heat (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging works of art near smoky and polluted areas (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We advise you to protect the paintings with a glass frame.
- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
