Ocelo

Ocelo refers to the eye, to the pupil, to the macro world inside the human eye. The image of the circle, recurrent in his work, also alludes to time as circular movement. In the video entitled Ocelo, a short series of stills shows the fluttering of a butterfly hooked by its wings on the windscreen wiper of a car on the motorway. It speaks to us of beauty in transformation and of impotence, of the ungraspable and permanent fragility.
