A moment that transcends - Solo exhibition
This second solo exhibition by Peter Demetz at the Lucía Mendoza gallery presents new works by the Italian sculptor. The exhibition includes new of his well-known light boxes. These lead him to develop a new, perhaps more architectural approach. In his new works he elaborates a new way of composing that evolves and radically transforms his intention. In the light boxes there is a given frame, the very box that houses them becomes a window through which to look. Through this frame one can observe and follow the figures in their own world. Although Demetz incorporates empty spaces, in some cases with a touch of colour, which respect a space for the viewer's imagination to collaborate in the creation of the world of his carvings.
