The breath of days
"El soplo de los días" is the second solo exhibition of the artist Helena Toraño (Llanes, Asturias 1984) in the gallery Gema Llamazares. This exhibition, as the artist herself relates in the presentation text, has been an escape route in the months of confinement, changing the initial Theme chosen for a more liberating one where the landscapes and scenes take us to that idyllic and dreamy world that she also manages in her works. "That wonderful trip to Toraño", as the well-remembered critic Rubén Suarez defined it. In total, twenty-four works make up this exhibition that take us on a journey through landscapes, places and moments that, in the words of curator Semíramis Gonzalez, reflect "attempts to escape to a strange new reality..."
