The stop of the monsters

The exhibition arises with the excuse of paying tribute to one of the most controversial and moving films in the history of cinema, Freaks (Tod Browing, 1932), translated as The Monster's Stop, an inescapable reference of counterculture. An exhibition project of the same name that will take place from September to November, coinciding with the opening season of galleries in Madrid.
The guiding thread of the exhibition will be the monster, both in its representation of the irrational, unconscious, fictitious and imaginary, as well as in its condition as the opposite.
It will not only be characters or grotesque beings from literature or cinema that will accompany us during the tour, but also others, even more frightening, that we see and suffer every day.
