Works by Eva Armisén
(Zaragoza, 1969). Graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, she completed her training at the Rietveld Akademie in Amsterdam and received a scholarship from the Joan and Pilar Miró Foundation in Palma de Mallorca. She lives and works in Barcelona. Her work focuses on capturing daily life and the everyday as something extraordinary, she proposes a vital and optimistic look that takes us to a livable world full of emotion. Painting and engraving are the artist's most common media, but the originality and ability to communicate of her work has led Armisén to collaborate in a wide variety of projects such as public art installations, advertising campaigns, film and television or editorial projects. With an increasingly international trajectory we can see his work exhibited in cities such as Seoul, Los Angeles, Hong Kong Singapore, Lisbon, Taipei, Shanghai or Melbourne in art fairs and solo exhibitions. In 2016 she collaborated in the candidacy of the "Haenyeo" (diving women of Jeju Island) to Intangible Heritage of Humanity and in June 2017 she illustrated the book Mom is a Haenyeo where the incredible story of these women is explained.
