We Weave Time
Like a tapestry of fragments that converge in the gallery from different directions, Nosotras tejiendo el tiempo brings together works by Ana Esteve Llorens (Valencia, 1975), Chingsum Jessye Luk (Hong Kong, 1982) and Pamen Pereira (Ferrol, 1963), curated by Ricardo Forriols, who, through different and distant practices, allow us to approach the conformation of the story as weaving, as that "text" which, more than the result of the action of writing or what is written, is related to the way of interweaving the threads, the fibres, and of ploughing the land, ordering the field; a perpetual weaving like the interwoven forms that arise organically and mathematically in nature and the same way in which we become entangled with our memories, passing through the register of days and nights that is life, which is also made by unravelling ourselves between forgetfulness and memory.
