Artist Biography: Evangelina Esparza is a contemporary artist born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1980. He graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and also studied Architecture at the National University of Rosario. Her work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions, both collective and individual, in Spain, Argentina, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Sweden.Among Evangelina's most outstanding exhibitions are the AISGE Foundation in Madrid and the one at the Parliament in Brussels in 2015. She has also collaborated on projects such as La Noche de los Investigadores at the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid, LaFashion Art Institute-Recicla Futuro at the French Embassy in Madrid and the Royal Tapestry Factory in 2018. Her latest exhibition, The Night of the Galleries, took place in Malmö, Sweden, in 2019.Evangelina has been selected on several occasions to participate in the CEART Tomás y Valiente Contest, and in 2016 she was chosen to present her solo exhibition. In addition, she has participated in fairs such as Estampa, Librarte, Just LX Lisboa (with a special mention in the press) and Fig Bilbao 2019.La work of Evangelina Esparza is growing in recognition, and proof of this is her presence in public and private collections both nationally and internationally. His artistic style is very personal, characterized by the use of vibrant colors and the creation of abstract shapes that blend in with the space in which they are located. His work seeks to reflect the complexity of the human being and life in society, addressing issues such as identity, memory, time and the relationship between the individual and the environment.
