Artist Biography: He was born in Monesterio, Badajoz, on August 25, 1944. He is considered as the maximum representative of the so called oneiric magic realism, not exempt of an enormous verism, beauty and poetry in his paintings. In 1957 he met his teacher Eduardo Acosta and entered the School of Arts and Crafts in Badajoz, where he remained until 1960. That same year he entered the School of Fine Arts of Santa Isabel de Hungría in Seville, which he attended until 1961, when he moved to Madrid to complete his training at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando, where he finished his official painting studies. He has collaborated in the scenography of several plays, among them: "La casa de Bernarda Alba" by Federico García Lorca, together with José Carlos Plaza, in "El Español", and in "Hazme de la Noche un Cuento", by Jorge Márquez. He is an artist who has been little used in individual exhibitions, although he frequently participates in group exhibitions with other great painters of today. His work is represented in numerous public museums, and in countless private collections, being one of the most sought after living Spanish painters. In 1979 and after his famous exhibition at the Biosca Gallery: "The most important of culture and art", he was elected "Best Plastic Artist of the year in Black and White". His 1993 retrospective at the Centro Cultural de la Villa in Madrid was visited by almost two hundred and fifty thousand people of different nationalities.

- Keep works of art away from direct sunlight and any other source of heat (heating, air conditioning, etc.). Avoid hanging works of art near smoky and polluted areas (such as fireplaces or kitchens). We advise you to protect the paintings with a glass frame.
- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
