'...And she keeps a stone from every place she has ever visited'.

Under the curatorship of Ángel Calvo Ulloa, the Galería Juan Silió in Madrid presents the exhibition ... y ella guarda una piedra de cada lugar que ha visitado in which Belén Rodríguez, Ricardo Cavada, Fuentesal & Arenillas, Núria Fuster, Antonio González, Ana H. del Amo, João Marçal and André Ricardo participate.

Ángel Calvo Ulloa offers us a selection of works that focus on the subtlety of gestures, those that usually go unnoticed but nevertheless retain their essence. Once extracted from their context and placed under the spotlight, they have the powerful capacity to refer and reactivate in an unconscious way sensations that hibernate somewhere in the memory.

In his daily work, the curator also collects ideas and images that in the end, in one way or another, connect with each other. Thus, although he avoids forced narratives, he instinctively creates a path in which, just as stones from different geographies and times are aligned, the works presented here defend art without excess, art that seeks the perfect synthesis with which to concentrate and, stealthily, evoke latent feelings.
