Valencia (Spain), 1950. This artist who declares herself a fetishist and enthusiast of Luis Buñuel is, ultimately, a rescuer. Rescuing everyday materials, traces of time and signs of the present that she incorporates into her works, she has created a personal and recognizable plastic universe in which she gathers fragments of her surroundings and her interior, to build with them her vital and lyrical beliefs. His language, full of originality and nostalgia, envelops us in an evocative world, in a kind of homage to the closest history and its collective memory. Throughout his long professional career, he has had numerous exhibitions in various parts of Spain, USA, France, Holland, Mexico, Italy, among others, and his work can be found in a long list of museums such as the Marugame Hirai, Reina Sofia, R. Guggenheim,... In 2013 he received the National Plastic Arts Award from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport for the hybrid character of his creation and the varied use of materials and techniques. His long exhibition career and his commitment, unequivocally experimental, make up one of the most representative proposals of Spanish art today.
