Carlos Sebastiá - Berlin 1975
Biography of the Artist: Carlos Sebastiá (Castellón-1975), graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and with a master's degree in Fine Arts from the University of London. His work is a pictorial reflection on the role of oblivion as a distorting element, understanding identity as the solidification of an instant or state of permanence, and demonstrating how our mind generates spaces where the dreamlike is mixed with the subjectivation of reality to reproduce a new state of things. The artist is distinguished by an extensive international career in countries such as Austria, United Kingdom and China, where he obtained a residential scholarship in the city of Shanghai by the Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry (ICCI) in collaboration with The International Arts and Culture Group (TIAC). As well as having work in the collections of DKV, Juan José Castellano Comenge and in the permanent collection of the UPV. In addition to its intense participation in fairs both nationally and internationally.
