Lucia Pizzani - Tripod
Artist Biography: Lucía Pizzani is a visual artist born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1975. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication, Audiovisual Mention from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in his native country, Pizzani decided to continue his studies abroad. In 2005, she earned a Certificate in Conservation Biology from Columbia University in New York, which led her to work in the area of environmental conservation. However, her passion for art led her to further study and in 2011 she received a Master of Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Arts and Design in Londres.La Pizzani's work focuses on nature, biology and identity. Through photography, installation and performance, she explores the relationship between humans and nature, questioning the way we relate to our natural environment and how this affects our own identity. Pizzani has exhibited his work in various solo and group exhibitions in Europe, the United States and Latin America. Some of his most recent solo exhibitions include "Mi Casa es su Casa" at Guzmán Gallery in Madrid (2019) and "Línea Roja" at Espacio Monitor Gallery in Caracas (2018). His work has also been included in major group exhibitions such as the Beijing Art Biennale (2019), the Venice Art Biennale (2017) and the Cuenca Biennale of Contemporary Art in Ecuador (2016). Pizzani has received numerous awards and recognitions for his work, including the Fundación Cisneros Award for Emerging Artists (2013) and the Armando Reverón National Visual Arts Award in Venezuela (2012). Currently, he lives and works between Madrid and Caracas.

- Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
