Artist Biography: The reinterpretation of painting as an artistic material is the basis of Arancha Goyeneche's (Santander, 1967) creative stimulus. She uses materials traditionally alien to this discipline, especially those from the industrial world, such as adhesive vinyl, pvc, photography, fluorescents or projections, among others. He has had solo exhibitions at the Museo Nacional de Altamira, Museo Barjola, Museo de Arte de Santander, El Brocense, CAB, Palacio de Revillagigedo or the Palacete del Embarcadero. In 2019-2020 his exhibition "Shared Places" toured the various Cervantes Institute venues in Morocco: Marrakech, Fez, Casablanca, Tangier, Tetouan. In 2019 he won the Research and Production Grant of Rambleta (Valencia), realizing the installation "Oasis and Desert" for the exhibition hall. He has participated in group exhibitions dedicated to new pictorial practices such as "Painting without painting" curated by Javier Hernando, "Mutant painting" by Ignacio Pérez-Jofre or "Video killed the painting star" by Javier Panera and Paco Barragán. His work is represented in public and private collections, highlighting Norte Collection of the Government of Cantabria, Botín Foundation, L'ORÉAL Painting Collection, Unicaja, Parliament of Cantabria, the Museum of Art of Santander, Ministry of Social Affairs, Complutense University of Madrid, Casyc, Chamber of Commerce of Santander, Junta de Castilla-La Mancha, U.N.E.D, Caja Burgos Collection, Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Cantabria, Diputación de Cáceres, Cajastur, DA2 Salamanca, Olor Visual de Ernesto Ventós Collection, Los Bragales Collection, Tranche, Lafuente. In 2020 he received the Plastic Arts Award of Cantabria.
This work includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authentication value of the work of art. - Avoid sudden changes in temperature. It is recommended to keep the paintings in areas with an ambient temperature of between 18-20º and 50% relative humidity.
- If the work is to be permanently illuminated, we recommend the use of cold light bulbs. Use a soft feather duster for periodic cleaning of the work. Never use household cleaner.
